Crates, Harnesses and Seat Belts for traveling

Our dogs are family, right? So why not take them along for adventures, trips, and travel? While some dogs are big, some small, there's a ton of options to help keep them safe while traveling. Just as we wear seatbelts to help protect us in an accident, there's companies that create specifically designed crates, seat belts and harnesses to help protect our dogs.

Before looking through, we want to inform you that only a select few have been Independently Crash Test Certified by Center for Pet Safety (CPS), which is a pretty big deal. Although many crate and seatbelts may keep your pet safe in the event of a crash, these ones have the tests to back it! Every dog should be treated as individuals. Whereas some who are calm and collected may benefit from using a seat belt, dogs who are very anxious, spastic or have high energy may be at risk for getting twisted or tangled. These dogs would benefit from having a crate, not only for your peace of mind, but it will also help keep your dog calm, supported, not to mention SAFE.
