Dog Training Guides

Only a small percentage of dog training involves the dog, but 100% involves the owner. Don't worry, we don't judge! These guides can be for ANYBODY from beginner to expert dog owners; some dogs respond differently to training methods but don't give up. The key is consistency and building a relationship between dog and person, and making it work for both of you.

We DO recommend ensuring the training method will work for your specific situation and also that you spend the time to train your dog yourself (or with the help of a trainer or expert in some situations) in your environment. This builds a lasting relationship and strengthens your bond. We DO NOT recommend sending your dog away for training UNLESS you also get trained and stick with it once the dog returns home, otherwise bad habits will resurface.
